STAMP DUTY - UK

This is a tax payable to the Inland Revenue on properties over £120,000, and is charged as follows:


£120,000 - £250,000 - 1%
£250,001 - £500,000 - 3%
£500,001 + - 4%

N.B. Certain properties are exempt from paying Stamp Duty to the inland revenue upto £150,000. Areas affected will be classified by postcode.
